Looks fine to me. I'm assuming you've already shaken both?

if the jar hasnt been shaked, do it now. Once yyou see 20-30% colinisation shake to spread the myc trhoughout the jar

no need to wait a week after 100% if your spawning those to bulk substrate, once its finished layer it with your bulk substrate at a 1:2 - 1:3 ratio and allow a week to colinise, wait a week after your bulk sub has colinised then fruit

How long have your jars been sitting? How long did it take before you noticed first sign of myc growth? Thanks I just started my WBS 2 days ago waiting to see some myc growth.

seeing growth in two days isnt very likely, patience is a virtue.

These took about 10 days before the first grains turned white and about a week or so after before I shook them. Patience. Theyre about 70-80% now 5 or so days later.

Am I right in that using G2G you can get roughtly 8-10 quarts from 1 quart? Or is that a bit high?

The reason people say wait a week after 100% colonization is that the center of that mass of seed might still not be colonized all the way through. You don't want to open those jars up and find out that the center is still uncolonized. Just wait the extra week to be sure. You'll be glad you did. On top of that, the myc will knit itself tighter in the jar if you wait and will thus colonize the bulk sub faster when you spawn. Those jars are lookin good though bro.

as far as g2g goes...I've done 20 jars from one quart, and still had left overs

Yeah, all it takes is a tiny chunk of colonized spawn to get a new colony. One fuzzy white birdseed will work, just a little slower. A tip on G2G and cloning: Ya know how some sections of the jar look more rhizo and white and denser than the others? Scoop those sections into new jars and keep track of em! Those 'super-rhizos' will take over a new jar very quickly and aggressively. You can do this one or two more times to multiply the aggressive colony. Kinda like a semi-isolation, just easier.

What do you have to do to prevent the WBS from being slimy ??

You can prevent it from being slimy by rinsing well before you load the jars.
