No they're a Panaeolus species. Most likely Panaeolus cinctulus.
Print them to make sure. Spore print oughta be black.

Panaeolus foenisecii by any chance though i'd prefer the subbs. The thin stem points in that direction, but my research shows subbs growing in fertilized lawns with thin stems.

Subbs can grow in unfertilized lawns too. And you're right, thin stems don't mean shit.

Try to get a print. If it's purpleish black then they're foes. Pan Subbs will have a jet black print. Thats really the best way to identify pan subbs.

Don't know if this will help but its the half ass print I got.
Then I read this on google:Caps are 1-3 cm across, dry, smooth or cracking in age, convex to bell-shaped, grey-brown to smoky or red-brown, drying buff. Gills are attached, close, broad, dark brown to purple-black, mottled. Stalks are up to 8 cm tall, slender, smooth, pale brown. Spore prints are purple-brown. This is the commonest of some related little brown mushrooms (LBMs) that fruit on lawns. Also known as Panaeolus foenisecii. Poisonous but not deadly (weak concentration of hallucinogenic chemicals).
The print seems more brown than anything. So if it says Poisonous but not deadly (weak concentration of hallucinogenic chemicals) that means the're edible right?

Looks like a foe print to me because its slightly reddish. But so is the background where there is no print so its hard to say. Use a real camera and take the pics in direct sunlight or bright shade.

It means that it will give you diarrhea if you eat hundreds of them raw, and will not make you high no matter how much you eat. If you have a mixed collection with some subbs in there you will get somewhat high. In the 70's some sloppy lab work said that Panaeolina foenisecii is weakly active and the rumor is quite persistent.
Go ahead and eat the foes if you are curious about their effects. I've eaten a few and never noticed anything.

If you had posted some pictures that were clear and in focus Cactu would have probably given you a more correct answer.
How many did you eat?
Apparently Panaeolina foenisecii is an effective laxative, good thing it doesn't cause other unpleasant symptoms.

I wouldn't call the pictures perfect, they have lots of weird lines across them. They are very clear though and they obviously show foes.
I saw the thread a few days back and I disagreed with his ID, but he has found a lot more subbs than I have so I didn't say anything. Sorry about that.

Subbs and foes can be difficult to tell apart from looking at photos. That's why you mugs need to spore print.
