He deleted the pics in a fit of paranoia but TS1 posted a topic about similar mutants: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/8726480

The shroomy 1 said: Ok! So yet again my freaking grow went to shit. I'm having an extremely hard time cultivating this summer. With Texas temperatures hitting 105+ degrees, keeping humidity high and temps down has proved to be challenging. I did however manage to have these THREE little fruits come about. I was so impressed with their "fullness" that I said to myself, "Hey self, let's try and clone these babies." I made some petri's and went to pluck them from their home. I pulled out my scalpel and went to cut the cap off for prints. HOLY CRAP! My brand new scalpel had a hell of a time cutting through the stipe! When I finally cut the cap off, I looked at the cut end of the stipe and noticed that it was SOLID. No hole making it hollow, just a solid stipe. It took some time to slice a specimen from it. After placing the caps on foil to print, and the thin slices of stipe on agar, I saw these two half inch stipes left over. YOU KNOW I HAD TO EAT THEM!!! They where the MOST DENSE AND HARD STIPES I HAD TRIED TO CHEW ON!!! I'm thinking to myself that they don't even look like Texas Strain. I went among my business and forgot that I had even munched on them. 20 minutes later.....I WAS BEGGING FOR MERCY!! The rest is for a "Trip report" All I've got to say is that I have found my favorite strain thus far. Here are some pics of these Texas Fruits. (Do they really look like Texans?)
I seriously thought I was about to meet GOD. With eating probably .5gms

Those are fine, should have let them grow. They don't have to be pretty to be edible.

That thing was edible.
