Some really nice rhyzos, that i plan on taking a sample off, by injecting water won the jar and scrapeing with the needle and suck back up :-)

Have you tried this before? I was thinking of doing the same, one of my jars only colonized in one spot due to what i think is too wet of BRF...Wouldn't like to see the jar go to complete waste.

What's the deal with that foil on top of your jars. I'm sure I've seen you around calling heresy when seeing foil on top of PF jars.

because these are not canning jars with lids. they are drinking glasses with a foil lid, the foil has inoculation holes in it, which arnt covered.

Cool. Thnx for clearing that up

depends on why it has stopped colinising. has your mycelium formed a solid well defined edge >? like it has run up against a wall.

The jar has only one colonization spot because I believe the other inoculation points didn't germinate because the substrate was too wet. It is growing seemingly fine, however it's only in one place.
