Erepublik is a browser based strategy game. It's is turn based game meaning you can only do something once a day, such as work or train.
It's a quick game and doesn't require more than 5 minutes to do things quickly. This said, some of the things are not obvious and hard to find, so here's my quick guide on what you need to know to play the game.
First, when someone asks for your profile provide the link to your profile page, for example: http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1462196 would be my profile and cowfarmer would be my name.
*When you first start the game find a job. Currently automan has a company open for all of shroomery folks. You can find it here, http://www.erepublik.com/en/company/shroomery-freedom-fighters-188836 . Employ yourself at that job.
Working is very important, it gives you experience to level up (which unlocks "features" such as fighting and running for office) also every day you train you gain .05 skill in what your current job requires (for us it should be manufacturing). Better yet it gives you money which critical to buy food, every day that you don't have food you lose 4 wellness points (out of 100) and everyday you have food you gain x amount of wellness AND also get 1 experience point.
How do you calculate x amount of wellness? It's based on this equation:
Quote:

Wellness bonus points is what Q (quality) your food is. Q5 is highest with 5 bonus points and Q1 is lowest with 1 bonus point.
At the begging you will not be able to afford anything more than Q1 food.
As soon as you make a character fill out this application to receive some free food ("Meals on Wheels"
i.e. food for noobs) They will send you some free food but make sure you buy a piece of food anyways, sometimes they won't get food to you for a few days:
Meals on Wheels
Three more things about jobs:
1) For every 30 days you work BACK-TO-BACK you get 5 gold. What is gold? It's basically uber-money that you can spend on to buy locked features and also you can convert it to currency, at this time 1 gold = 50 USD at a rate of 1 USD = .02 gold. So it's good, whatever you do try to work once a day, even if that's the only thing you do. Always, always work!
2)Once you get a job you can't quit for 3 days (not to sure if you can sign up for another job in 3 days either, never tried it). This is why it's good to work for automan he can fire you when you need to be fired.
3)Your productivity is dependent on your wellness. Less wellness = less production = less xp = bad. Always work when your wellness is at the highest level that day.
Let's talk about wellness:
Wellness as I said is just health/HP, I'll be calling it HP from now on. You have 100 to start off with, if you get to 0 your person dies (all stats are reset and you lose everything but the name).
Ways you lose HP:
1)Working- You lose 1 wellness per Q of your job. If your company produces Q2 products you will lose 2 HP per work.
2)Training- Training gets you strength. Strength is used to determine how much damage you inflict in a war. The more damage you do the better obviously but it also helps you "rank" up (Private > Corporal >...) which is also used to calculate your dmg. Note: Training is not as important as working, especially until your lvl 6 (before lvl 6 you can't even fight...). In the first few days until you're lvl 4-5 keep your HP up to be more productive at your job! Forget about training until then.
Wellness is not important to strength increase (therefore fight AFTER working but BEFORE fighting).
This is the formula to calculate:
Quote:

[tex]s = total strength
*If 0 ≤ s < 1, then B = 0.50
*If 1 ≤ s < 2, then B = 0.25
*If 2 ≤ s < 3, then B = 0.10
*If 3 ≤ s < 4, then B = 0.05
*If s ≥ 4, then B = 0.02[/tex]
3) Fighting- when you fight you lose 10 HP (You cannot fight if you have less than 40 HP).
4) Moving ticket- when you move with a Q1 ticket you lose HP.
5) Not having food- a very stupid thing not to have.
How to increase HP:1)Food- refer above for a full explanation
2)Housing- not important until later stages but it basically acts like food.
3)Hospital- You can heal at a hospital AFTER you fight at once THAT SAME DAY.
Quote:

Make sure that you live in a place with a Q5 hospital like Florida. Also, the link to heal is small and stuppidly placed. I couldn't find it for 3 days which really messed up my lvl gain rate. After you fight, click on the button/link to go back one page. Then look for "heal" towards the center of the page.
4) Gifts- when someone donates a gift of quality to you, you gain 1 HP.
5) Wellness box- costs 2 gold and heals 10 HP instantly. This is stupid,
DO NOT BUY. 1gold=50USD and for 100 USD you could get plenty more HP with gifts then 10 HP.
Now fighting:Fighting is only available to you when:
1) You have more than 40 HP
2) There is a war your country is involved in
3)You are over level 6
When you fight you can use weapons to increase damage. Also, how do you know if there is an active war? Go here:
War List. Limit the search to your country (should usually be USA) and to active wars. Everything else has been covered above.
Since you're from the shroomery, join the shroomery team. Announce yourself here and to ask automan about getting into the military here,
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/10169693/fpart/1/vc/1 .
Truth is, we've been holding out on you. The command post is hidden and only available to people who are 'in', request access here (after announcing yourself above):
Request accessThe military group is a little more time-consuming and if you don't mind seeing people Role-play, it's pretty cool. Free food, free weapons and free fights. It's all understood

I think that about does it for me

... You can learn on your own about making a company, joining a party or writing for our very own newspaper
The Fallen Spore. I just wanted to write up something that makes this whole thing a little more understandable, hope it's useful.
It's simple really, just takes a couple of times around the block to get a hang of it and it helps promote us, it makes you feel all warm and included. It's a great way to wake up and do while you have your cup of straight black tar coffee.
So let's go fuck some bitches up.
