Yopo gave me almost no effects.

I would definitely go with the HBWR seeds. I've heard that the main psychoactive effects from yopo are due to 5-MeO-DMT. 5-MeO-DMT is a very dysphoric trip. Trust me, you aren't missing out on anything by not ever trying 5-MeO-DMT.

Yopo is mainly bufotenine, no 5-MeO (see the Anadenanthera link in my sig for details)
Personally I prefer yopo, HBWR has always been inconsistent for me, but always has a nasty body load. Yopo is nice (though I've been fortunate enough not to get any bunk seeds)

Ah yes you are correct. I got confused because I read somewhere that when you smoke yopo, the bufotenine is converted into 5-MeO-DMT. This may not be correct but even it is, it probably doesn't pertain to this question because yopo is most commonly insufflated.

I've never heard anything about bufotenine converting to 5-MeO-DMT when smoked, and frankly I don't believe it. The experiences are like polar opposites.
And smoking is a very common traditional way to consume the seeds. I prefer it over insufflation. And archaeological evidence indicates that the practice of smoking the seeds has been around much longer than insufflation (in northern Argentina they've been consumed this way for thousands of years).

Visually intense, absolutely. It doesn't have the mindfuck in the way that most other tryptamines do though. It's more a soothing relaxed feeling mentally. I frankly don't know why so many people don't like it (I assume I must have gotten lucky in not getting seeds with a lot of the physically uncomfortable trace chemicals, or my preparation methods effectively reduced them)
And who knows, maybe I got unlucky with my HBWR. I'll give them another chance sometime, they just haven't really delivered for me much in the past.

it's totally up to what you are looking for. they are like exact polar opposites. yopo is short, HBWR is long. yopo leaves your mind functioning relatively normally, HBWR will totally fuck your mind. and so on and so on. you really should get both, cause they are both great in their own way. if it comes down to absolutely having to decide between the two, then really consider what you are looking for.

I can stand having my mind raped and heavy visuals also.I just cannot stand HEAVY body loads,the body load off of shrooms is fine bu DMT on the other hand I almost cannot smoke enough to even visual get off because of the intense body load.I hate to admit it but if I want to brake threw on DMT I have to take a xanax a few hrs be for smoking it and that completely knocks out the body load.So with that being said(and that's the only reason I ruled yopo out)do you think the body load from yopo is the same as smoked DMT,and if not should I try it?Sounds very nice,and I am also wondering the same thing as Dimensions.

my experience has been that yopo is not as good for learning and exploration as LSA plants. that said though, i haven't ever had a particularly strong trip off of anadenanthera sp. i personally am not particularly interested in visuals and prefer the crazy mind stuff. im sure entropymancer can give a better answer than myself.
@DNBplus
the amount of DMT in yopo is small if any. as was mentioned already, the active ingredient is bufotenine. presumably not the same as smoked DMT (though i have never had DMT in any form)
