prolonged pinning cause?

ok my friend's robot charlie birthed a mycbag into a hyrda-pod 6 days ago today.  Only thing he sees is small white bumps occuring randomly across the cake and in some patches but mostly at the bottom of the cake.  are these knots? (sorry no pics untill the entire grow is done  :frown:)

I guess his questions are, temps avg around 78 could this be causing the slow down? will temp prevent pinning?  and he gives them about 3 hrs of light per day via a flourecent 20w 2' bulb about 1.5' away. any help is much appreciated thanks.

Yes, they sound like knots. Your temps are a little high, and yes are probably causing a slow down. No temps won't prevent pinning, just slow it down. I would recomend getting your temps down about 5 degrees. I would also follow a 12/12 lighting schedule. This may help. Is the light a grow light or just a regular flouro?

its a grow supposed to have the equavielnt output of a 70w. thanks i tell the robot to try these things you recomended when he sees pins i will update the robots log!
