Found these in a public park in Victoria on Vancouver Island today under Douglas Firs on thick shredded leaf mulch put there by the parks department.
They are not so fresh, except the lighter coloured few, which I would guess are about a week old. There has been no rain and low humidity for about a week now.
They are pretty rubbery and the caps are cracked from drying and the driest caps have sort of a coppery metallic look.
The spores are pure white. A few of the oldest had, but no longer have a few maggots. My guess is that as they became drier and rubberier conditions were not suitable for egg hatching/maggot invasion.

Most likely a Melanoleuca species.

There is a dichotomous key for the Melanoleuca genus here; hope this helps!
