Habitat: growing on hard wood in an old horse carall Gills: white when young rusty brown in age covered by a universal veil soon disapering Stem: 2-6mm wide 5-8cm long fibrolouse Cap: 5- 12 cm wide smooth when closed cap but grooved when aging dry (was a very dry day) smooth no veil reminence Spore print color: did not take one looking at the gills i would guess cigar brown
Bruising: light tan if any may have bruised over time did not collect more interesting mushrooms in proximity
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.
just wanted to ID these guys found them within ten feet of some dried up pan subbs going Back to look for better specimens of the subbs today just want and excuse and to sound like i know what i am talking if i get Q:ed cus its in the middle of town

good call on that looks like some microscopy is needed for exact ID but it does sound like A. Pediades

Looks more like A. praecox since its kind of thick and growing on wood chips.

hmm mite be but they kept horses here for a while so it would be considered well fertilized too, but i will check the differences to be sure
