He did some mushies like 2 weeks ago and says he still sees visuals if he concentrates or something. Hes only done them twice.. anyone know whats up?

^ This. Has he tried not concentrating really hard? Before I took any drugs I could concentrate on a carpet for awhile and it would morph a little bit. Visual static, slight morphing if you concentrate really hard, and halos around lights are all things that happen to plenty of people completely sober, they aren't permavisuals or anything. When you take mushrooms, don't you get a bunch of really wild patterns and shifting? Unless you get something comparable to that sober, I don't see why it's a concern or even if you can necessarily make the connection.

I don't think he's faking it. My vision has definitely changed since the first time I did Shrooms. Now when I look at something, it'll definitely dance a little and breathe. Or if I look at a carpet, the patterns will blend together.
It's not as amazing as it sounds, but still pretty cool.

I get the same thing. sometimes its when i concentrate, sometimes its when i dont; the slight morphings and the halos, and the light effects of looking at something which may have been reflecting light and then looking somewhere else and seeing that static visual difference.
People say it's cool and that we're lucky for getting them but sometimes it pisses me off, sometimes i just feel like i want to be completely sober again, but can't after taking LSD.
I didn't get it after eating shrooms, only LSD.

Ive always had weird visual anomalies. As long as its not interfering with daily life, I dont see what the problem is. Mine werent even brought on by tripping. They might of been worsened by tripping, though.
I always thought it was because I have poor vision, but glasses just sharpen the distortions. Its cool as fuck.
Dont worry about your friend unless hes worried.

I get odd visuals when I'm sober. Nothing intrusive, but when I lay there and relax, things can start to waver and breathe with me, colours kinda of change and I can occasionally lose track of where I am and feel like I'm in the land I'm imagining in my head. (sometimes)

Back in my really heavy shroom days in Texas I took shitloads of outdoor gulf coast boomers right off of cow shit. I then moved to Florida and was totally sober. It took about 2 months for the effects to wear off (ie. visuals). It never goes away, but it will mellow if you abstain. That's what I've found with LSD and boomers. It will generally ebb.

When i look at a ceiling, wall or certain patterns they do that interlocking melting sorta thing for weeks and sometimes months after a trip
i also see things in my peripheral vision a few times a day, people, cats, cars, birds, plants they are usually moving and it can be anywhere, anytime, mostly at night tho
when i was younger i thought it was the coolest shit ever and after trips i would practice trying making things melt and so on
then i didn't trip for a few years and still saw things atleast once a month up until about a year or two ago
iv'e tripped about 5-6 times in the last 8 months on mushrooms and now i see stuff more than ever, almost every few minutes
but i kno whats real and i still find it really interesting
i always thought this was normal, and will continue too 
ime, if he keeps making himself do that it will only get easier, til he won't have to "concentrate" anymore, but simply gaze into whatever it is
