INTENSE closed-eye-visual while sober?

I just got back from a run andd had probably the most intense closed eye visuals I've ever had, sober or not. It was like a white blob in the shape of a "u", and the perimeter of the blob was all rainbow colored. The tips of the "u" then joined together to form what looked like an eye. Really weird. Any thoughts on why this would happen? Also probably noteworthy to mention that I haven't touched any drugs in over 2 months.

That's cool, I used to get that all the time. My teacher told me it was called "an ima-jun-ay-shun" or something.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Yeah I get those in milder form whenever I close my eyes, always did as a kid. The running probably amplified it from the intense breathing combined with the endorphins.
