Tell me this grey wispy stuff is normal!
Blue oyster spores to rye- is it supposed to look weird?

I have no experience with oysters. But from what i do know, its not blue. Its only the caps that grow blue.

I think oyster mycelium is quite different from cube mycelium. It doesnt grow rhyzo and is much whispier.

Check out the gourmet forum, there should be pictures of oysters colinising

Correct. You'll never see rhizomorphic growth with oysters. The mycelium is 'linear'. Here's an oyster isolate on agar for a two-dimensional view.
