Happies in Wisconsin (desperate!)

Hey!

I am desperate on finding some mushrooms here in Wisconsin. Could anyone PLEASE help/tell me what species I can find here in Wisconsin (or in this region)? I do have a manual on it (Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World) but it is so complex for a newbie. ANY species I can find out here would be appreciated!!! I just need a name so I can do research on it and find its habitat, time of the year, etc...

If you look at the "Mapping the Mycelial Network" page and the one Anno set you up with, the accuracy of that must be questioned. Azurescens are an introduced species in wisconsin which probably means (in this case) that it's possible to grow them there. Finding them growing in the wild, unless wisconsin has been uber-innoculated with spores, would be highly suspect. It's hard for my skeptical mind to believe that whatever mushrooms you found were azurescens. Make sure you really learn your shit and post a picture before eating anything you picked in wisconsin if you're hoping that it'll be active. In my opinion, you'd be better off getting some spores and some knowledgle about how to grow and starting an indoor project.

Another thing about that page, it doesn't have azures listed in washington or oregon. What goes on?
