Has it ever happened to anyone that they innoculated like 6 weeks ago(I innoculated on 9-22) and I checked today(I was gonna dump the substrate out) because it didnt colonize for so long while all the other jars did. I was too lazy to get around to it, so the uncolonized jar just sat. Right now theres a small patch of thick white mycellum about a square inch in just one innoculation point. I doubt its cobweb due to the color and slow growth. Perhaps the syringe was old and the spores lay there dominant and oneday(maybe 3 days ago) one of the spores finally germinated and the single mycellum cell begin binary division!

incubate? I did the same to all jars. one got growth in 3 days, the other in 7 days, 14 days and the last jar(that one was labled jar B) just begin growth. Im just wondering if anyone had delayed germination of 6 weeks!

i had the same thing man, it was probably more like 8 weeks for one of my jars while the rest germinated in at most 2.
