second trip alone?

ive only tripped once before, on the halloween that just passed. i was with four other people. i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to trip alone in my room after my parents went to bed. im not planning on taking that much. only a half an 1/8 or less.

it just depends if your up to it and if you can handle your mushrooms. I like tripping alone, it gives me time to think and sort things out. I've heard people having problems with tripping alone, but I've eaten mushrooms about 10 times and I've never had a trip,6 were alone.

thanks for replying so fast. ive been debating this all week. i think im just going to do it, ill just see what happens as it happens. do you have any remedies if i should start to freak out?

not really, not sure what a bad trip is. When you trip just have a good mindset, just think to yourself that it's going to be awesome. If you eat the mushrooms and think you may have a bad trip, you probably will.

If you start having a bad trip change the setting your in. You could go into a different room change the music or go outside if you start feeling uncomfortable just change what your doing.

well I guess you could drink a ton of water to end your trip earlier if it is bad.

You could drink an entire pool of water, but that won't end a trip any quicker. Once psilocybin is in your system, you have to ride the effects out.

If you have to ask, it's probably not a good idea.

However, there is nothing inherently "bad" about tripping alone. It can be even better than with company - but this all depends on you.

I love going solo but I've been around the block many times. I think the best way to start tripping solo is to try a few starting with friends and them seperating for the second half. That way you can get on a good start and finish on your own and get the feel for it. Soon you wont have to ask you'll just do it.

I personally enjoy the company of friends, as they are entertaining, but if you can keep yourself entertained while tripping alone, go ahead and do it!!!

tripping alone is a good thing , go for it and if you hit a prob tell yourself , i am ok I AM OK ITS ONLY A DRUG , drink plenty water , call a friend
bad trips are a nightmare , you get bad and uncomfortable , we laugh about them later

I've been wanting to try doing them alone myself.. probably will soon.

I've had a bad trip on lsd, sucked. A change of environment does help. For me, I just can't handle being around people that I can't share my experience with. Some people like going to Disneyland, I'd probably go nuts with all the people there. Maybe one day I'll be able to handle that. If you do get into a bad trip (and this has helped me before), tell yourself that it is just a bad trip. Just the drug talking. Your mind may think that it's reality, and you may think that everyone is out to get you (I did once), but you gotta just keep telling yourself that it's all in your mind. Ride it out.

You can do it if you want, but be prepared for a less than mind blowing trip. With your parents home you'll find that you spend a lot time planning what to do should they knock on your door.
