What color -should- it be?
Hmmm..... I dunno really, Mine is usually greyish/purplish if dried.... and a pretty blue color if fresh.
Really have no idea what color it is supposed to be tho, Never seen a pic, or a cup I didnt make myself....
Drink it. If it gets you high. It is supposed to be whatever color it is.

Yeah, yellow, brown, purple/blue...
All of the above should be good. Just don't leave the heat on too long or too high. I have wasted about 50 mushrooms in a tea before...

I disagree with this completely. I do not think making tea decreases potency one bit. Not even a little. Eat the same amount you drink in tea and if anything the tea is more intense because of the quick come up. But until this can be proven I say making tea results in zero potency loss.

I completely agree , the tea is processed so quickly any loss of potency IS NOT NOTICED

you don't need to stir them, just let them sit in hot water. how complicated does that sound?

would using a tea ball filled with dried shrooms instead of a tea bag hinder the extraction process at all?

Can you use mycelium to make tea? or would it not be strong enough?

You can use mycelium to make tea but most people say its not worth the effort.
What would your plan for getting that much mycelium be anyway?
