I can say this from experience because I was in a lucid dream when I flew all the way into the sky and then I reached this all encompassing black energy field, and when I was able to pass through that there was this electrical snap and I found myself rolling out of my body and out of bed. Well, not so much rolling as I was really just a point of energy which moved in the direction I intended to go towards.
It did not feel at all like a dream... instead of a dream where everything is like a slideshow with one picture coming after the next, the world I was in was stable and almost identical to the real world. Was I actually in the "real world"? Probably not, since when I left my room I saw a blue scorpion in a cereal bowl that wasn't there in real life.
Was this experience "not real"? To say that this experience was not real is to say that it never happened when clearly it did.

I think I have finally figured it out.
The world of everyday experience is just a hallucination, also known as Maya or the Dream of Shiva.
Astral projection on the other hand is provably and objectively real except when skeptics are around, since they distort objective reality with their powerful hallucinatory magic.

I've never known anyone on drugs to be wrong about anything, ever.
Ever.
To know and to feel are two totally different things.
You cannot be "right" or "wrong" about what you experience.
Only knowledge, only our logic can be correct or incorrect.

There's some serious necromancy going on these days.
