if they are done producing fruits then the cake is finished. you can use them as spawn, but if you case them they probally wont do anything because the food source is exhausted.

Why not just make up a nice fresh casing? It just seems to me that they only give so much before they're spent, maybe someone more experienced knows better, though.

cases work best w/ fresh substriat - This come from a latta ppl in the know.
I have spawned numorus cases and cakes after time was up.
The work FAR Xceeds the benifits.

ya i just got some GT's going now but i just got an EQ syringe and started them about 2 days ago, i want to case the EQ's but i fear they'll get contaminated...now dont get me wrong, i like any mushroom trip but i really like visuals and with GT's you dont really get visuals and i was gonna case my GT's and just leave the EQ's on cakes...oh well guess ill just stick with cakes for awhile...
