:suicide:you can view it from so many perspectives. the fact that we are always alone, means we should never worry about loneliness and try to enjoy what you do regardless if you're a loner or not . but it can also be viewed the other way    :yinyang:

You can try and escape your solitude by surrounding yourself with people, or objects, but in the end you're the one that has to face the music. Face it with a smile, because this world is irrelevant at that point. But until then, whatever makes you happy. I'm a loner, sure it would be nice to have a beautiful face to see in my last moment, but I'll be just as happy if I'm watching the clouds go by.

You know when you die, when you're 89, got you're children and grandchildren around you're bed... that's cool.

I almost died, alone.

My car had broken down in the middle of no where, no cell service, and a harsh terrain. I'm a trained survivalist, but with out water, there is only so far you can go.

I broke down early in the day, around 2 or 3, and within a half hour, determined that the car was indeed dead, and that my only chance of survival was to begin walking to an abandoned mine 20 miles away which might have some water pooled in it.

IT took me a while to realize the fact that I might indeed die, and then hours later, the fact that I Was indeed Going to die set in.

In a lot of ways, I was not alone. I suppose this might sound corny, but in reality you are never alone at any point in life, the past memories of those you have met, laughed with, and loved, carry on with you. And in the final moments of your life, those memories are as warm and caring as the people that they had come from.

Death, or at least getting close to it, is a unique expierence, and the expierence of death it self, is literally a once in a life time expierence.

At that time, I Was glad that I Was alone, because anyone elese with me might well have perished with me. I would hate to have to sit and watch a friend die slowly, even more so because of a mistake I had made. Furthermore, 2 most likely would have traveled slower than I did alone, and with that lies the posibility that we both would have ended up dead.

But one thing I must say, and I do hold true, is that I have never seen a more beautiful sunset than i did while walking through the desert that night. Truly amazing.

yea. I have had a moment when I thought I had testicle cancer because of a bump and one night it really hit me that I might be dying (I was so paranoid I pushed off going till the doctor for awhile and was in denial -stupid thing to do btw)  but I had a moment where I was crying and it made me think about everyone I have been around and what my life had been- I can relate to that type of thinking you are talking about- it also really makes you appreciate the beauty of life and that it is best not to wast time moping.    near death experiences are very enlightening in my opinion

I don't think I'd want to be alone as I'm about to die.  But then again I'd hate to have my loved ones watch me die.  It is a double edged sword.
