Unknown actives from PA, possible ovoids (Microscopy PICS!)

Well, if you haven't seen it yet, Newbie and I were out hunting in PA last weekend and we managed to find some actives. I thought they were Ovoids initially, but other people suggested they weren't due to lack of an annulus.
So I decided to throw some spores under a scope. Here are the pics of that.

Mushrooms in question:

Also, see Newbie's post for some new pictures of the mushroom in question http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/10297393#10297393
Based on the shape of the spores and the 8-12um spore size, I'd say they're probably ovoids, but I really don't know. What say you, folks who know microscopy?

Almost certainly ovoids. Spores are certainly the right shape to be in the stuntzii section.

The spores look the same as Workmans images! I like your blood cell micrometer inski.

Workman told me about how WBCs are usually 8um, so I used that as a guide. One of these days I'll get a recticle.

Haha, yeah you could definitely use that as a guide! When I got my eye piece with reticle the guy sent me two different ones to try out, I kept the one that worked better and sent the other one back!
