This is the new batch of 4 jars but i see something strange about them a little brown stuff and it is very long , they are inoc. in 19.04 and for now they were not in incubator (they were on top of the fridge)

P.S. I used the powdery vermiculite and i think this is the problem but i want to hear a good post from pro's

Hrmm, they look iffy to me.possible bacterial contam....contam or not they are definetly too moist. next time use medium-coarse verm and work on your moisture content.this is the reason the strands are so "long"..how do they smell? as far as that last pic, I wouldn't recommend taking off that tinfoil until they are 2-4 days after you see 100% colonization.. that's just asking for trouble.

Im guessing you are new to this. let me warn you and say brf cakes are easy to contam ethier on sterilization problems or also because brf is very nutritious \. id reccomend u go straight to horse poo straw and spawn to it with rye grain or uncontamd brf cakes. that looks kind of like contam to me.  and they are too soggy
p.s. opening the jars easily opened those to contam and they will most likely show signs of contam growth in a week or 2 so id recommend starting over with a different method.

Its possibly metobolites, leave them be and wait for some more responses.

brf cakes are no more contam prone than grains or bulk substrates.

BRF are easier to sterilise, thers no wash, soak and simmer, and they can be steam sterilised.

contamination usually means dirty inoculant or dirty inoculation procedure. Incomplete sterilisation of substrate means not long enough cooking time.
