is this strand perhaps too slow? ive been in the 90% colonization phase for nearly 4 weeks now....any ideas? all other factors seem to be normal, but this is only the seoncd time ive grown pc

4 weeks seems oftly long,,i had a PR jar the did this,,,and when i cracked the lid it smelled of rotten oranges,,i seperated it and let it go for another week and no discoloration showed up but damn it stunk so needless to say i chucked it,,give it a try,,clean your self off and just crack the lids for a sec,,it wont hurt,,,if it doesnt have that distinct mushie smell,then it might be trouble

Sounds like the jars have stalled. This happens.

Do you have a verm barrier? If so, remove the tape from the holes. The jars may have run out of air.

no the holes are open, just covered by foil. there was a period where temp fell below 60 for a weekend, maybe 50-60 hours....could this have killed my babies?

killed no slowed down,,yes,,,but if you get the temp back to normal all should norm out,,,,,i think you should smell those babys
