run away! Chinese bikes will work for a couple of months then just start falling to pieces.

You'd be better of spending twice that on a second hand bike.

Chinese bikes are worth shit. See how they advertise themselves on their site by saying they make lots of bikes and they hold lots of patents. Nothing about quality. Painting lots of paintings does not make you a good painter and making lots of bikes doesn't make someone a good bike builder.

I've got a little 125 pit bike and it has a 4 stroke lifan engine. Goddamn that thing is a pain in the ass, the timing is out so there is too much fuel allowed into engine, so in order to actually ride it I have to ride it with the choke on (which limits the torqeyness and overall power, ime).

Its currently sat in my garage gathering dust, cause I've pretty much sheared the back wheel and I can't be fucked to sort out the timing issue.

Goddamn Chinese bastards :crankey:.

It's Chinese so of course it's going to be cheaper. It's also a piece of crap whose wheels will fall off at high speed too.

Fixed..

Seriously though, get an old Harley, fix it, and you will love it forever.

And be able to pass it off to your kids.

China = cheap, not quality.

Though if your just going for a romp in the woods, have fun, but dont expect it to last, AT ALL.

Seriously, this.

My brother is a mechanic / hobbyist and out of all the different engines and bikes he's built and put back together and ragged the fuck out of, honda engines are the most rugged and reliable. They're nigh on impossible to kill .

I have to agree.

And the parts are cheap.

But if you don't want it to fail in the first place, go V-twin.

And you'll have more power and torque, but higher weight.

What the Chinese generally do is take a bike that works. I have seen this with Honda's especially. And copy it exactly. They just use cheap crappy parts which is why it is MUCH cheaper and why it WILL break.

Example:
Chinese crap:

The real thing (this one doesn't have the standard exhaust which can be seen on the Chinese one):

They look identical but on the inside they aren't. I always thought it was against the law to copy someone's design but apperently it isn't.

They are absolute pieces of shit, DO NOT under any circumstances buy that.

Buy an old beat to shit jap bike, you can find them for even less money, and they'll still last you longer than any Chinese garbage.
