after a bit of distance he gets close to shore and finds a stick to feel like he has accomplished his job:

after he first lost the stick i said to myself quietly: "man i lost my dog down the river!"

from what i got, he was saying it looks like it's a pit, and that because it's a pit, it probably eats children.

and incase your not aware, pits get a really bad rep, and I defend them every chance i get,

so where's your logic numbnuts?

while they do get a bad rep, they are the dog highest on the list of causing deaths, whether you like it or not.

I had one for a long time, and she was a wonderful dog, i loved her to death and she was very sweet...she passed years ago, just got very old.

that may be so, but IMO, there are no bad dogs, just bad owners

i understand what pfxtc is saying though.  that is not to say it couldnt eat a child if it really wanted to, they tough dogs and have amazing strength but super nice.

people generally try to stay away from my dog even when i walk him down the street.

its funny while they are thinking: "oh mean pit bull gotta stay away", my dog is thinking: "hey whats up with these people?and  do they pose any threat?"

I avoid lots of dogs, pits or not.
Something about them makes me uncomfortable. If it's small enough I'd feel comfortable kicking it in the face then I won't avoid it.

You don't understand how much that little dog loves sticks.... I think the dog would sacrafice himself for a stick.

Aw, what cute dogs.
I love pit bulls. I've never met a mean one. They just have a bad reputation.

I used to have an american bulldog that weighed about 180 and people were terrified of him. He was the nicest dog ever though. He just drooled and cuddled. People are just afraid of big dogs for no reason.
