Sad day for our nation. . .
    #1028549 - 11/06/02 04:44 PM (18 years, 8 months ago)

Oklahoma has become the 48th state
to ban cockfighting. The vote was 56-44.

Another nail in the coffin of freedom.

First they came for the fighting cocks
and I did not speak out
because I was not a fighting cock.
Then they came for the guys who make the cocks fight
and I did not speak out
because I was not a guy who makes cocks fight.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

Oklahoma voters ban cockfighting

Welcome to 1982, guys.

Whenever I want to see two cocks going at it I go to Mexico... one friend of mine has an alternate solution, he makes a selection from the gay porno aisle at the video store.

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.
