Meddle...They were on the verge of perfection but they weren't quite there yet.

Nothing comes close to Dark Side of the Moon in my opinion, I have some weird kind of connection to it. One of those things that "makes me feel at home" when I listen to it. Especially the songs Time and Us and Them.
I love Floyd, 3rd favorite band, behind Zep and the Beatles
The best thing about them is how unique and psychedelic they really are, nothing comes close.
All their music gives off this really crazy vibe, like I said earlier, makes me feel at home. Really warm feeling listening to Pink Floyd. I can't explain it.
After DSotM I'd say Wish You Were Here is 2nd best, followed my Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
The sheer amount of material they have out is wonderful though, some of the earlier shit is absolutely mind blowing.

One of my goals is to shroom on a beach in the middle of night while listening to Echoes and staring at the open ocean in solitude, hopefully I can make that happen relatively soon.

while peaking on Acid FTMFW... intense
They are one of the very few band who have always been consistently good while still evolving their sound. Dark Side and The Wall (live) are definitely up there too, really far up there. Animals, Meddle, and Piper at the Gates of Dawn are also all very solid.

something about the Wall just annoys the hell out of me,
although I wish I could see PF live, that's gotta be something.
I always wondered what it would be like to be on a unholy amount of lsd at one of their night club shows in the late 60's with Syd, Interstellar Overdrive being smashed into your skull, seems like good times.

i hadn't really listened to it until a year ago. my dad and i were driving down to kentucky to pick up some cabinets from a factory and i had some shpongle playing, and he said it reminded him a lot of the pink floyd song "several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooming with a pict"
i just kind of looked at him like, "what are you smoking? lol"
then he put it on and it was actually pretty good.

Wish You Were Here is easily my favorite.
Then Animals, Meddle, Dark Side, Piper, The Wall is awesome but has a much different feel.
But really there isn't one album i wont listen too for weeks on end.

Wow, really? That one wasn't historically a crowd pleaser.
I own 7 Floyd albums on Vinyl, and I own the original DSOTM and the 30th Anniversary version. I love them all to death, but I enjoy Wish You Were Here the most. Second place would be Animals, but I've literally heard it over 30 times so it's lost it's edge. So probably Meddle.

I remember watching Dark Side of the Rainbow while on shrooms with some friends a while back. It was seriously awesome. I couldn't wait to get outside, though, cuz my friend's mom said we were making too much noise (yes, his mom, but she is chill and has smoked with us before). I absolutely NEED total freedom when I'm on shrooms
.. but it was the best, every sound and subtle movement had so much meaning, perfect balance as well

Obscured by Clouds has always been my favorite album, I simply can't get enough. It's my choice Floyd pick for sober life or tripping, I love it. After that, it's hard to choose between a lot of them.

I like Dark Side of the Moon the best as an album, it just flows amazingly... up until Great Gig In the Sky, but whatever. But Have a Cigar is my favorite song by them, its just so damn entertaining. Its smart yet very tongue in cheek.

A really underappreciated album.

My favorite is their last album from 94' , The Division Bell.
I cannot tell you how many times I have listened to that album, Ive listened to that album more then Ive listened to any other bands combined
The last song on that album, High Hopes, to me is the greatest song ever made and will forever be my favorite song. When I listen to that song no matter where I am, what time of day it is or if I'm high or sober that song will always make me feel so fucking good! I get chills down my spine and goosebumps all over when I hear it.
I might sound crazy but it's true!

Here is some Pink Floyd that 95% of you have probably never heard. Why do I get the feeling that people are going to get mad that I said that. You young bucks are so sensitive about your Floyd. Anyway, feel free to thank me, or lie and say you already heard this. Candy and a Currant Bun

It better be, I'd have to look up each album to make sure that all the tracks are actually there. I just downloaded it all a while back I never checked to see they were all there yet.

Most of the stuff I posted is unreleased studio work of "The Pink Floyd," before they dropped the "The."
