Anybody think that golf tees would imporve spore print sterility?

Would it help to poke a golf tee through the center of the cap's underside and use the tee upside-down to keep the cap off of the printing medium?
Thanks

Well if wild prints have contaminants on the cap.
I guess for huge caps it would be wobbly though.
Maybe it's overboard, maybe I'm stoned.

Lifting it while it is dropping spores would increase the chances of wanted spores escaping and unwanted spores entering. Not to mention that the media would already be clean, right? It does help to use a thumbtack, toothpick or pin to poke into the top to lift it off of the medium while printing, golf tee seems a little heavy tho

Yeah but don't you print in a still air environment?
And it would only be an 1/8" off of the medium.

I cut a small square of stainless mesh from a sieve and fold each corner over so it sits just of the deck, about 2mm, this way nothing comes into contact with the foil apart from spores, I sit the severed pileus on the mesh and make an initial print on paper for an hour or so under a glass or plastic container then slide the paper out without lifting the container, I then slide a clean piece of foil under and make the final print, I wear gloves and a mask for the whole procedure! I have had very good success with this technique and have been able to create clean cultures with no transfers needed, even from wild mushrooms! inski.

I can confirm it works great. I have tested inski's technique two weeks ago.

I see, a screen. I was stoned, and nodding SEVERELY!
It must be some sturdy mesh to be able to have its corners folded and support a cap.
