yeah, it's just water, it won't hurt you,but if you want to dry it out, you should cut it lengthwise down the stem, so it can dry out better.

I over-watered a cased cake and it produced a waterlogged mushroom. It started to turn dark blue/black... I assumed it had started to rot. So I picked it, cut off the blue/black part, and put it in my drying chamber. But then a few days later I found it was going bad and smelling up the dry chamber... so I chucked it out. So if you don't dry it REAL quick, it might start to rot.
