Cloning a mutant?
    #1023446 - 11/05/02 06:17 AM (21 years, 4 months ago)

I have a double shroom, is it possible to clone this or are they just two different mushrooms?

Yeah.. They're just two different mushrooms. The thing with these abnormal cubensis mushrooms is it is usually due to something strange happening while the pin is developing. I recently had two mushroom pins join at the base, grow their stems apart, and then the caps fused together. There's a pic of it in the pictures forum somewhere. So, it's nothing genetic. I want to attempt to do it on purpose at some point.. I bet you could come up with some real strange stuff that way.

Hi Neon, I saw lots of weird pics but wasn't sure about the clone facts....

Intresting you say there's a way to create a moster but it could only become someting funny like bonsai-art....doesn't increase the production or something..

Petroleum products can have a very weird effect on developing mushrooms.

perhaps that is where he heard of it.

PF claims it's classic strain was mutated due to exposure to UV rays, but sunlight is one of the most potent sources of UV out there, several times more potent than most manmade sources.

I call bullshit.
