I'm gay and I'm sort of against gay marriage. Not really against per se... but marriage in the religious context doesn't seem right. Religious folk don't want homos defiling their morals and that's fine by me. Legal bonding, that should be just fine, right?

Marriage need'nt be confined to religion.  Plenty of straight atheists wed, no?  I'm gay and have absolutely no intention of marrying, yet I'll gladly support the right of those who want to marry to do so.

Should atheists should get married in the traditional sense? They could have other ceremonies in place of a traditional wedding.

Personally I never plan on getting "married" but having a ceremony of my own design out in the middle of the woods.

People of any religion, race, gender, etc should be allowed to get married using any binding ceremony they desire.  Following, they should be able to be considered married if desired and enjoy the same rights as those who were wed under any other type of binding ceremony.

it seemed to me like "Enders Game" had pedo undertones to it.  I dunno, maybe I was just imagining it.

I noticed that too.
The rest of the books were much different though.

I wouldn't call it pedophilia.  It was written from the perspective of an adolescent child.  It wouldn't be realistic if a kid his age didn't have sexual thoughts.

It's natural, what can I say man.  It wasn't pornographic in its telling that I remember.

they weren't even adolescents tho. and there was a line like, "they didn't even have three pubic hairs between the two of them" or something like that.  It seemed creepy to me.  There were other creepy lines too.

There was another line that talked about either Ender's tiny prepubescent penis flopping up and down as he ran naked down the hallway.

Sounds like he's establishing insecurity as a character trait, possibly.  I'd have to read it in context.

ender's game isn't exactly the most intellectual read ever but I still think it's really creative.
