yeah, it is pretty damn fun... very intense. i've had an account there for a while. but i haven't played much in the last few days.
it's not actually an MMOFPS though, it's just an online FPS.

well enough people play it. i would consider it a Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter. whatever you want to call it. its a great classic game that is now 100% free to play and more convenient than ever with this whole Quake live system. im loving it.

MMO implies that thousands of people are playing together in the same game space. where as in quake live, i think the player limit in each game is around 16 or so.
but yeah.. i really like how it keeps track of all of your stats too. pretty cool.

well then why do they call counter-strike an MMOFPS? not trying to argue, just understand.
and yeah the whole stats thing is great! plus i love the server selection screen with the little thumbnails of the maps and shit. very organized.

hm.. whoever "they" are, they don't know what they are talking about. one example of an MMOFPS would be planetside.
