That could be extremely psychologically stressful!

Edit: Before I say anything on topic, I have to say that your signature picture is badass Coaster. It seriously made me gag because I thought something was happening to me that seemed drug induced although I haven't ingested anything tonight! Yikes!
Cool thread PDU! Interesting to read the likeness you share with your parents. I think a lot of the similarities people share with their parents go unnoticed too hahaha.
I have my dads money habits having grown up mostly with him, and I think that's the one thing that's stood out to me as far as our likeness goes. He is mostly broke and when he does have money, it is GONE with a quickness and hardly anything to show for it and hardly gets anything done. Also my dad was always very giving to his friends and just liked his buddies to have a good time. I'm like him in that way too.
Only very recently have I realized the likeness I share with my mom. My mom is a big goof-ball, and has a really silly sense of humor. She makes impressions of people or animals, or makes silly faces a lot. It's embarrassing to see sometimes, although it really shouldn't be, she just likes to laugh.
So when I stay up all night drinkin' coffee and smokin' pot, I tend to get VERY goofy, in a fun-loving way, very much like my mother.
Both of my parents are addicted to various drugs, coke/crack for my dad, meth for my mom. In the past I have tended to take things WAY overboard with certain drugs (coke, crack, K and mdma mainly) and I don't know if that has much to do with my parents, or if it's all just my own will.
For the past 5 or 6 months, I've made substantial changes in my drug use and have even turned down K, mdma and coke several times.

I also have gone overboard with drugs - marijuana addict when i was young, then coke and crack, then habitual polydrug abuse of mostly MDMA/ecstacy and GHB with acid and others, and lastly 2 years of severe Ketmaine abuse.
When my dad was my age, he was a Heroin dealer.

interesting. i would never have thought that based on the posts of yours that i've seen.
now that you mention it though, i do take after my father in the drug aspect of my life. we both have an addicting personality.
i just like to think i learn from his mistakes, and don't let it get out of hand
