probably in the ballpark of 5-6 years....

Your question is short sighted though...  are you just going to waste 5+ years of growth by just eatting it, or are you gonna propogate it?

what does mature mean to you? that's the question...

there are way too many variables to give a clear answer anyway, no matter if "mature" means ready to harvest or of flowering maturuity to you...

lets say that 3-5 years is a good estimate, but don't expect to get high from one grafted plant :nonono:

how many mature peyote would one have to consume in order to trip?

and how long would it take (approximately) for an ungrafted peyote to fully mature(being outside in summer and inside in winter), eg circumference of a tennis ball or maybe slightly smaller?

tennis ball size, from seed? we are talking around 10 years.

there are too many factors to consider regarding potency.

lophophora williamsii is not a viable source of mescaline considering the amount of time it takes to grow, and it is an endangered species.
start looking into trichocereus bridgesii and trichocereus pachanoi if consumption is your aim.
