How does one become a "moderator" here?

Hi, i'm new here. I like these forums, and I was thinking about becoming a moderator of one of them. I'm a pretty "chill" guy, so I thought this forum would be as good as any. So if it's possible, I would like to throw my hat in the race for moderator of "The Chill Out Room".

I have leadership abilities, and I know I could keep this place in an orderly condition.
