Stoped myc growth.

I have several pf jars that have stopped colonizing after 3 weeks. Its well defined uncolinisation and I think this might be trouble. Ive searched and came up with nothing. I did read that you could cut away the uncolonized part and case or fruit the cake. Any help? Ive turned the jars over and have been most sterile. Thanks for all the info so far!

What percentage would you say is visibly colonized?

Ok. My 2 cents. Turning jars over causes contamination and premature pinning.

I have experienced almost stalled colonization from what i believe to be compaction and the buildup of moisture at the bottom of jars. Where did yours stop?

When my jars stall, i check for one thing. Pinning. If there are pins i would birth dunk and roll, and fruit. if their are no pins, i would wait for further colonization.

Oh yeah. if you birth was away and rub with finger any uncolonized sub before you dunk.
