I've since decided Dan Brown (the author) is deserving of my first born (especially considering everything this man writes is just as captivating)

I never actually read that one...I saw the movie though, and I thought that was pretty cool
it's funny though - I've been saying that shit about Jebus and Mary Magdeline for years now, and everyone always looked at me like a fucken crackhead...until, of course, someone made a movie about it - now, apparently it's a perfectly valid theory
go figure, eh

I thought the book was way better than the movie. The book seemed more intense to me.

I didnt like the movie much. I think the movie would have needed to be 2-3 times longer to do the book justice. It was too compressed and much of the story left out or changed. Actually, it shat me heartily! Book was great though, and from what ive reade here im gonna have to get angels and demons

The guy can't write for shit. He seriously has no idea at all. Not the worst novels ever written (there's a lot of crap out there), but almost certainly the most overrated rubbish of the last decade or so...

so, i both read first, then watched tha da vinci code and by far the book was way better. there was sooo much left out, as usual, in the movie than the book. just saw the previews to angels and demons and it looks realy good. but i want to read the book first for sure. downloading it now. but i wanted to throw this out there for anyone that might wana take a gander. http://www.mininova.org/tor/2470254 its kinda a documentary and a background on the whole subject thats behind angels and demons. pretty interesting, as well as filled with some stretches it seems, but i dont leave anything out. i only say that cause they mentioned wether or not our last pope might have been murdered, among some other things. which is kinda a ridiculous assumption i feel as, the dude was way old....held his position for many years, and had failing health long prior to his death. you would think if there was a conspiracy to kill him it would of been earlier on. altho i wouldnt doubt there have been other popes in the past as they claim to have been murdered that actualy were. but again....i dont rule out anything either way as skeptic as i can be. i look forward to reading this book and cant wait to see the movie. and then hes coming out with a third installment. i remember when i was first recomended davinci i was like, ah, this is gona go over my head, im not gona like this. but my exgirlfriend reccomended it so i was like, ah, well, it will be interesting for us to talk about it or whatever. before i knew it i was hooked. reading the book all throughout my lunchbreaks and rides home on the bus. ive got such bad add it takes me a while to read as i usualy have to read pages over and over again. but if anything else it helps realy implant the story in my head. granted it took me a while to finish it, but it was well worth it.

I was about to reply to this thread, since I've read them both...
... But then I saw that I already replied - over 2 years ago.
