Glad to see so many suggestions. I knew I'd see some Pink Floyd in here, although they've never done it for me for some reason. That said, they're meh for me sober so I don't listen to them tripping. Maybe if I gave it a shot things would change.
I flipped out when I took Ayahuasca, died and went to another plane of existence for a while. Apparently I collapsed face down on some furniture during that time, and when I came back from the beyond my roommates had moved me to a comfy chair and set up Shpongle with winamp visuals in front of me.

Pink Floyd is the obvious pick,
I love them while tripping like no other.
Nothing comes close in my book.
Love them sober too
Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon best albums.
Although a lot of them are great too, Meddle, Piper, etc.
not to mention Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and Revolver by the Beatles, they're great too, although Sgt. Peppers can be scary, I have bad memories with Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite haha.

A good live Grateful Dead concert (exceptional! Probably want a 1968-1971 for the depth of a trip) A good live Phish concert Sun Ra's later albums (and if you can find him live it's excellent)
and
Nico: The Frozen Border Line 1968-1970
The above is a remaster of Nico's wonderful The Marble Index with better versions of some of the songs included. YET I never listened to it tripping, I would imagine it being excellent because here music is very immersible, atmospheric, and beautifully heady. The drawback being it's dark and depressing and might bring down the mood in a more vulnerable mindstate. It's really an experience worthy album, though.

*Pink Floyd*Pink Floyd*Pink Floyd*Pink Floyd* Obviously...
Infected Mushroom Sigur Ros Shpongle Explosions in the Sky
First three had already been mentioned. I had a particularly memorable trip with Sigur Ros when I sent away my college housing app back in high school, since then its been tripping music close to my heart. First trip/tons of subsequent have been to every pink floyd album, truly spectacular... Explosions in the sky is nice chill groove music. And we haven't forgotten about shpongle, though there a relatively new sound to me, I guess I heard em' pretty late.

Its the guys from Dream Theater playing instrumental music. Progressive fusion. Very trippy and very good. I highly recommend it! LTE 1 is very intense. Paradigm Shift, The Stretch, Universal Mind, Three Minute Warning. Give it a shot.
Also, a few of the live shows from Phish are mind blowing! Anything Porcupine Tree is phenomenal. Anything Pink Floyd is orgasmic.
I completely agree with LTE, paradigm shift is the most insane thing ever, I listened to it last time I tripped, it was incredible. Acid rain is also a good one. I think Lateralus by Tool would have to be the best, some Dream Theater songs are great though.
