I once saw a girl open for a band I went to see who sang a whole set by herself with no instruments behind it and ROCKED it, but she was absolutely hideous, and I'm sure will have no major success with it.  Shame, really.

Yep, no prob!  I figured everybody would enjoy to see something like that, but unfortunately, I doubt most people in the pub will bother watching.

Actually it kind of made me sick.

"Before you started singing everyone was laughing at you, but they're definitely not laughing now"

She shouldnt be wasting her time on this piece of shit show with that genital wart Simon Cowell.  All they're looking to do is wrap up a nice presentable product and sell it to the public, and once they saw they could do that with her they're views changed.  I hate these shows.

good singing though

I wonder if people would be raving if she didn't look like such a beast ?

I guess it's very emotional to see someone shine like that, who in our shallow society has no doubt been looked down on and dumped on.

If she had always been rich, famous and beautiful, would this mean anything at all to us ?

Here's her singing "Cry me a river".  Amazing. Enjoy:

I have been getting kind of mad at all the people I keep seeing on television and on the radio that are terribly surprised that she has talent.

Do they really think ugly people are not skilled at anything?
