But first stick to english:
Materils needed:
Mycelium of azurescens Wood chips ( i don?t know which wood i got it from the saw mill) Rye Water Pressure cooker trays (I took some made of polystyrene) jars (with filter lids --> tyvek works great!) maybe a syringe (for mycelium syringes) wet Cardboard (put the cardboard in COLD water for 15 min.) A Bush?!? :-)) a terrarium a glas or a plastic lid for the terrarium
I got this strain in Mai from "Lisa" (a friend of mine) and made some mycelium syringes.
First i took about 2 kilograms of rye and boiled it in water (1-1.5 hours) till they have enough water content. I put the grains into 8 jars and inoculated them with the liquid mycelia. About two weeks later the jars were fully colonized.
I took the colonised jars and mixed them !!unsterile!! with wood chips (the wood chips were soaked in water for 1 day) in a polystyrene (we call this "styropor" i dunno if there?s the same word in english) tray. The trays are ?bout 60x40cm (-> 23,6x 15,7 inches)
I put the trays outdoor with a lid (no light to the mycelium) and added water every 2 weeks. In the end of juni the wood chips were fully colonized. I was wondering how fast the mycelium grew!!!
I took some wood chips and put them on a wet cardboard to have some mycelia in automn:

This is the outdoor Tek:
I placed the trays (without lid of course!) under a bush and watered them if needed. In the end of september/begin of Oktober the first shrooms grew.
I made a few pics:

Then there was nothing till halloween...... On 31th Oktober the second flush began to fruit:

These little babies are still growing!!! It is not as difficult as i thought.....
Now the INDOOR TEK:
I placed one tray into my terrarium added some water (for the humidity I think some water also becomes vapor by this temperatur).
Here?s a pic of my Indoor setup:

The terrarium is placed in my cellar where the temperatur is as cold as outside ?cause of the broken window . On the 2nd of Nvember the indoor tray also began to fruit (only a few Mushrooms but better a few than no mushhroms):

I?ll take some photos the next days, so you can watch them grow......
I have to say sorry for this low quality pics.......
I hope my english wasn?t too bad so you understand everything ....

Ja also meine lieben Deutschsprachigen Kollegen.
Bilder vom Ersten Flush:

Bilder vom 2ten Flush:

Nice.. I'm impressed.. It seems that the casing must have picked up a certain bacterium or something whlie it was outside that helped it to initiate pinning. That's a possible explanation as to why those things won't fruit indoors unless you take colonized substrate in from outside.. Oh, and it looks like they're fruiting on the edge of the tray.. That's probably because the casing is too dry towards the middle.. Think about maybe giving the middle a scratching with a sterilized instrument of some kind and giving it a misting.. Good luck.. (Take some prints!)

from the pictures ive seen it seems that azures seem like to grow up from underneath a log or at the side of a box. i suspect they like to have something like that where they can gather their forces or maybe they like the support? i think im gonna go throw a big branch on my cyan patch to see what happens...

I let two azurescens trays in my box till now and took a look yesterday, and you wont believe it 1 azures is growing (now he?s about 8cm tall)..... My cellar has the same temperatur as outdoor, and in upperaustria we have -23?C in the night. Woww its fuckin cold in winter in Austria.... Maybe i add some pix. Now I am preparing wood chips with Arcana(dunno if it?s really arcana I got it from Anno, maybe its psi. serbica or anything else), MF2, Azurescens and subaeruginosa for next year. mobyd

Hallo!
Sehr sch?n gemacht.

young azure and cyan patches typically only fruit from the outside edge of the patch. try upping the air exchange for larger caps.
maybe that's why my backyard bed only fruited from the side. I hope for a full bed next year

hey guys,
this is my first attempt at growin any kind of shroom. I'm giving the azurescens a go-around, because that's all I want, it's the medicine. So far I've had excellent luck getting them colonized with vermiculite, and I have a couple jars in my terrarium. I gave them a cold treatment and they started buttoning out, but then it stopped. I'm using perlite for humidity, but after reading all these threads, I've realized I'm gonna need more than that. So until I can get an ultrasonic humidifier, I'm gonna mist them everyday and give them a cold treatment with icepaks every day. The cakes have been in there for almost 2 weeks with no shrooms, but whats interesting is that the cake is turning blue, so it must be building up with pysilicbyn. I just need to get it to fruit now. I have a humidity gauge in there and I'm fairly certain I can keep it between 90-95%. If anybody has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

um.....
i suggest you don't bump really old threads. start a new one if you like, but not in this forum - try 'cushroom cultivation'. GLP is for growlogs and pictures.
