Mini Double Tub vs. Martha

Hey All,

  My question is this: I have 4 12qt sterilite tubs that are currently in the spawn run.  I do not exactly have the money to set up a martha right now and was wondering if I could just make some mini double tubs using 1inch holes with polyfill.  Will there be a significant difference in yield or FAE?  Has anyone ever done a side by side comparison?  Just to elaborate, these will NOT be HUGE double tubs.  They are 12qt bins that I will make a mini dub tub setup.  I have searched through the forums and found many threads regarding monotubs and marthas but did not find any specific answers comparing mini dub tubs to a martha.  Please help!!

Id go with the mini-mono for the hands free setup, or the "set-it and forget-it" method. Marthas require more shit and attention too humidity, where a mono is self-sufficient.

BTW, I did WBS spawned to 60/30/10 Coir/Verm/Hpoo.

This is why I'm thinking that the mini dub tub idea will work because the sub will be moist enough to keep the humidity at a reasonable level.  I was just worried about the FAE or any other concerns you guys may have with this setup.

I currently have two monos going right now and one fruiting chamber.  I did not have space for another mono so I was going to be doing the four mini dub tubs near a window sill with a 6500K CFL clipped to the sill so I get sunshine and "fake" sunshine.  My two monos are very bulky right now and a martha would not be ideal for me.  This is why I would like to go the route of four mini dub tubs.  I am just worried about yields (especially with MS big mex).
