We'll see. I think he'll lose. He was in court today.

He was in the country driving from San Diego to Phoenix, clearly in the country.

He actually has all of their police videos to confirm his story.

Bingo.
They can ask anything they want.
You don't have to say shit.
THAT IS NOT PROBABLE CAUSE, PERIOD.

Only for those ENTERING the border.
He was going from state to state, not a crime.

It may have been, but as a U.S. citizen you dont have to say anything...EVER.

Acting sketchy and refusing to communicate with them isn't reason enough?
You still haven't answered how it is you think they would be able to do their job at all if they would let anyone through based on request of the driver.
No it isnt reason enough, AT ALL.
Not talking, or answering questons is NOT RESISTING.
Forcibly resisting is resisting arrest, not, not talking.
They can do there job just fine with search dogs, and bomb detectors, if they cant find a possible criminal with that, then too fucking bad.
Make the technology better without infringing on rights.
If you dont like it, move to china, youll be nice and safe there.....

Grainy videos with no color or sound will not beat 10 cops testifying against him. Guaranteed.

Haha video footage is the most reliable evidence used in court today. And the cameras that they used today aren't shitty. Regardless of the quality it still more reliable than any testimonial. Quit talking out of your ass.

QFT
Even if 10 cops testify aginst him...They HAVE to prove the dog barked/smelled something/heard something.
INNOCENT BEFORE PROVEN GUILTY.
PERIOD.
If im proven wrong, then you may as well throw all of your rights away.
Which means, no free speach, no bearing arms, no assembly, etc, etc.

Ive been tased a bunch of times though, by friends and myself but I don't see a problem with cops and tasers.
Maybe it's just American cops who are total dicks. I have absolutely no problems with cops here, I actually like cops down here, their so chill and social.
Ive been tased countless times by my friends. The ones that cops are allowed to use are WAYYYYY stronger than what a citizen will have.
That's right, only issue I have with that was that that friend had a goddamned X26 taser that dropped me like a fly. Even worse was that they were surprise attacks! I remember the first time I was sitting at a picnic bench with friends and that fucker thought it be funny to come up behind me and pwn me. I fucking cringed, it was horrible.

Well if your going to poo poo someone because they excercised their constitutional rights, what approach are you going to take to any legitimatly illegal and immoral application of state force?
"they killed my brother: "they shot me cuz i spoke against the governor" "they jailed me without charges:
We have these rights for a reason. If you want to eliminate our right to not be forced to testify against ourselves then feel free to start a movement for compulsory interogations and suspicionless arrests, but untill that day I cannot see how you'd feel the above is at all legitimate.
Its worth noting that in every single case I've ever seen where the police do something clearly illegal or immoral they sure no how to invoke the fifth. Its even in their union contract to extend the protections of the constitution to things such as civil actions and administrative reviews by the police. When's the last time an officer did something clearly illegal/wrong and came clean as soon as it was discovered and submitted to questioning? Doesn't happen to my knowledge, and it is certainly common for cops to shut their mouth and get a union lawyer- the same cops that question people expecting them to waive their rights.
