Another look at Love

I was just reading a bit and found and interesting statement to ponder. This is not to say i hold this statement with a high amount of certitude but this thread will hopefully take this "discussion" to other realms that were tapped in the previous "Love" posts. The author of this quote will remain nameless for now. see if anybody can guess.

"love is a state in which man sees things, most of all, how they are not."

In considering all "belief" to be opinion, love is creating a supreme view, if not one of divinity, for one's "opinion." How can one justify this self-righteousness?

arent we entitled to a little bit of happiness in our lives?
yes love blinds our view to certain issues, but it enhances it to others...
example - you go out and drop a pill and acheive temporary enlightenment

I think that line is rather pessimistic... but sometimes accurate.

Self-righteousness is not always the case --but it usually is. Opinion can be manipulated. Love probably can't.

Do you think that this sentence:

could be considered any less accurate? If so, why?
