Do you even know what kind of mushrooms you're looking for?

 well I started with normal books, Ive been hunting for shrooms just to know them, I mean without searching for anything... I had a really big interest, well the interest stays, but the enthusiasm is gone in me I think... well thats normal if I now go hunting I ll look for magic of course  I dont really know if thats the right way to start, but thats mine. If you can afford books, specially for magic mushrooms, buy them, books are not  expensive

Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World by Paul Staments is a good book, if you're just looking for active mushrooms.

Mushrooms Demystified by David Aurora is an excellent book for leaning about and identifying mushrooms, possibly the best.

The interenet is a damn good resource too

I'll go ahead and tell ya the species that you may find, and I'll leave finding info about them up to you.

Panaeolus subbalteatus(too late for them)
Psilocybe cyanescens
Psilocybe stuntzii
Psilocybe semilanceata
possibly Psilocybe azurescens
possibly Psilocybe baeocystis

If you are lucky you can find it in Settle in a used bookstore for half price or less like i did.

mj. Actualy cost me $6/25 cents. It was priced $12.50 and then sold for half-price.

Mj/ It can be found in many used books stors on the wWest Coast. His other book is All that the Rain Promises and More. A paperback edition pocket size. for $17.97 and then again for half price in a used book store.

But it is my understanding and speaking from experience that 99% of you new shroomers cannot even afford my $12,00 copy of Magic Mushrooms of the pacific Northwest. but the Arora book is rather large and hard to carry around in the bfield becasue it is so thick and it misidentifies P. cyanofibrillosa as Psilocybe cyanescens in a large foto by Paul Stamets. Both have3 been informed over and over concerning the eror yet in sussequent printings they have never corrected their mistake.

mj
