Question regarding breaking up of colonizing dung.

I have a tupperware container filled to the brim with dung about half colonized with cubensis mycelium that was originally spawned by birdseed. I was not very thourough in making sure that my spawn was well spread and I am considering dumping the tray into a large sterile bag and mixing it all together.
Is this completely retarded? I am basing my considerations on my shaking of colonizing birdseed - the recovery period for regrowth only seems to be about 18 hours, and spreading the inoculation points really helps with the growth.
Suggestions and comments are welcome. In the future I will spawn more evenly, but for this one....?

I think it sounds like a good idea. There will be a recovery period as you stated, but that delay should be more than offset by the more rapid colonization.

Not retarded - BUT extremely difficult to do without getting contams. You got a flo hood with a hepa filter.
How long ago was the poo spawned? Is possible to shake the tupperware container.?

Thanks Dog.
ItsAllGood - dung doesnt contaminate very readily in my experience, I'm not worried about it contaminating, I'm worried about the mycelium getting mad at me.
I've noticed a lot of posts from you that dont seem to be quite on target - maybe you should be less ready with info until you're sure you got it all right.
Peace and thanks for the info, time to squish this mofo up.

I'm gonna disagree with you on two points. One, Its all Good has actually been one of the few guys helping around here, the rest of you punks have been asking questions and asking for quick answers. Two, I don't thin that what you have is a problem with inoculation points, I think it may have to do with water content. Thats the hardest part to get right when using poo.

Hey thanks cheif. I've been working my butt of trying to help out - I'm glad someone noticed. Sometimes people are gonna disagree but WTF you never stop learning and 96% of my replies are from education / experience. Some fucka still down rated my mushroom count though

Who cares, you know what you know, and you got the real fruits to prove it, you don't need no stinking mushroom rating.

My water content is dead on, it was just a problem with inoculation points that I was concerned about, notice in my lead message I said that I hadnt spread my spawn very well. I didnt downgrade ItsAllGood and I wasnt trying to be a hater but I was just saying...
anyway. thanks for the help.
