 Getting an education...

Hey all. I'm considering going to school next year and I'd like to take some classes that touch on philosophy, psychology, and or religion. I don't know if I would persue a career from those studies because I don't really know what is out there and I haven't even really looked into what kind of classes are offered in those areas. I'm really more of an artist by trade, so I might just go down that path and take these other classes for my own personal development.
Anyone been educated? How was your experience and what did you do with it? What are some of the general classes and what do they cover and what kind of jobs do they lead to in the working world?
Any help is much appreciated.

I'm going to start a philosophy degree next year. I think. I don't think there are many career options, except becoming a philosophy lecturer, or a writer etc. I'm going to be doing it for my own mind expansion and all that. Then I'll do some travelling. Still, that doesn't mean that you can't get a degree in philosophy, and then do another one in psychology or whatever. Personally, I plan to spend as much time in full time education as possible  .

right now i'm in my first year of aerospace engineering, but my favourite class is english which is an elective course (means i don't really need it). My planis to basically finish the engineering degree to pay the bills, and then focus my energy on art. I'm into everything from philosophy, peotry, to painting, to photography... i wanna do it all.

I am just now really starting my education. Just graduated High School last year. Been going to some Tech school which sucks ass, i only going cause my HS grades were not up to par. But i really want to learn about Philosophy, Astronomy and Arciology (spelled that wrong). But my proplem is that i am not good in Math at all and well, it go to college you need to be good in Math. Any Ideas?

im in my 2nd semester of college right now... just taking some general classes, and still have no friggin clue what i want to do for a career. I know i want to play music for the rest of my life but that probably wont get me a home.

do what you love, im a jr in college, my major is zoology, with a minor in photography, i want to be the next jaq coustou....the point is do what you love.
