Looks like it's on the wet side. What water to rice ratio did you use?

little wet.
try the pre-cook and rinse.
brown rice, and rice in general, is notoriously sticky.
rye, millet - these are good grains.
brown rice is just starchy and sticky.
i say pre-cook and rinse.

I followed the directions on the bag.  1 cup of water per 1 cup of rice. Used an asian rice cooker. It has no water standing on the bottom of the jar.  I personally thought it was dry, but what do i know eh? :smile:

The substrate should be damp, not wet right? Are the kernels from the rice supposed to look "smushed" up against the jar walls or should they look like as if they are dry kernels in there but fluffy?
