Size myco spots and when to patch
    #1015844 - 11/02/02 02:50 PM (15 years, 1 month ago)

I know this cat who has messed with casing a little bit, and is wanting to learn the proper techniques for creating a more even pinset. So, he wants to know how large should the spots of myco that first appear in a casing be before patching should be adinistrated? He is alos interested in how many spots should be allowed to appear before birthing the casing into a terrarium? All input is appreciated. Thanks.

??? Patch as required. i.e heavy in one area then patch it. Just helps get an even pinset

Depends on Strain - if PR stick in fruiting chamber eraly, otherwise wait for a nice even show in the "Valleys" of you casing layer - Don't wait for the whole thing to colonise.

What a terrible thing to lay on somebody with a head full of acid

patch as necessary i know, but how many times should you patch (if it's still uneven) before you call it quits and fruit it how it is?
