Which Strain for a First Timer?

I was wondering if those with a little know-how will be willing to help me with this one? I'll be using the classic PF tek. Looking for something with fairly agressive colonization. Time is a factor, so something with a quick fruiting time would be great. Easy to grow a plus, but not absolutely necessary. Potency also a plus, but not necessity. Any ideas as to a particular strain? I'm looking at the selection at The Little Guy right now. Ideas would be great!

The B+ from TLG are great. Go with them.

I've found the PF strain to be very easy. Much easier to get them to pin than other strains Ive tried.

im usin mazatpecs for my 1st time, and they are doing just fine..... as a beginner i dont think it makes much diffrence which strain u choose to grow... they all do about the same, and u really wont notice the diffrence till u grow out a few diffrent strains.....

I'm having good success so far with B+ for my very first grow The jars have colonized very nicely with only one perhaps showing sign of contamination - several small black spots which grew just a slight bit and have since vanished into the mycelium I've just strived for cleanliness (keeping things in a small bathroom otherwise unused and generously disinfected routinely with Lysol) and maintaining a temp of 85. They're maybe a week away from their birthday - can't wait

My reccomendations are B+, GT, or EQ. My friends first grow was with EQ, but they didn't turn out as much of a yield as would B+ or GT. I'd suggest trying one of those two.

Have to disagree w/ you on that. I did eqs & Cambos at the same time. Everything the same.(pf method )The cambos were mush slower . Nothing to dime size vs. quarter to half dollar. Thats a Goddess damn big ass difference. B+ ( and I hear good things about it-though never worked w/ it) worked well 4 a friend of mine who was attempting to grow 6 other strains at the same time. First attempt at growing. Saw lots of mistakes made and only the B+ made it. Though with all the shit I saw wrong(and I'm no Anno) I think that the law of averages simple landed on that jar.

Alternatelly, you could always try T3. Fast coloniser, even flushed, prolific fruiter.

As you can see from all these responses, you can pick whatever strain you want and it will work. There is very little difference between strains in terms of easiness of growing, but I have found Ecuadors to be particularly potent.
