Pretty much. But it is so much better than that. Absinthe is fucking good! It is a totally different drunk. So much better than regular alcohol.

Nah I don't think willpower can sustain a recovery effort. Willpower is based on emotions and emotions are not always going to be in line. Better to reform habits than depend on willpower.

Willpower isn't the product of emotions. It's that which gives you control over your emotions. However, it's my personal suspicion that anyone who has the willpower to overcome a serious addiction without outside help is less likely to become addicted in the first place.

Well I got over meth, then I got into heroin, I got over that, too. I was an alcoholic through all of that and I've beat that, as well. I've been clean for 12 months from everything but nicotine, caffeine and sugar and I never used anything but my will to be clean.
