Lakers vs. Cavs in the finals.
Trust me, this is what the NBA wants and they can make whatever they want happen on the court.

If your referring to playoff officiating I'd tend to agree, would still like to see Lebron get his first championship however as I'm sure the NBA would as well.

I don't think so.
Most sports writers agree.
Bill Simmons is probably the most popular columnist on ESPN, and he is pretty adamant that the NBA is, if not fixed, at least under pressure to conform to the leagues desires as far as match-ups go.

yeah it has nothing to do with the fact that Cleveland and LA have been the 2 best teams all year long.

You totally misunderstand me.
You will get no argument from me that the Lakers are the best team in the West, and the Cavs are certainly one of the top two teams in the East.
I'm just saying, the NBA has been salivating over a Kobe vs. Lebron matchup in the Finals all year. If they can at all sway things that way, and you have to admit they can, they will.
Just like D-Wade in his Championship year, the NBA will cater to starts to achieve what it wants.

So you think the Heat won the title straight up?

I know, I'm just trying to feel some excitement for my team. Actually I think the Jazz will win one home game and lose the rest. I still despise Memphis for giving the Lakers Gasol which pretty much made them unbeatable in the Western Conference, but Cleveland can beat them and I hope they do.

cleveland CAN... BUT, that being said, the lakers as a whole as well as phil jackson have much more playoff experience than do the cavs franchise, and playoff experience is key in matchups where both teams are of about equal strength.
to be honest, i'm not even dead set on it being cleveland lakers, i think boston, orlando, or miami can still one up the cavs when it comes crunch time.

Anyone who says that is completely ignoring the way the Cavaliers play. Not to mention the addition of Mo Williams has been huge but Cavaliers have amazing team chemistry, they dont take games off. there is a reason they have the best record in the NBA. 39-1 at home, are you kidding me? these men come to play
Id be SHOCKED if Cleveland isnt in the finals.
Orlando is a non factor now without Jameer Nelson. Rafer Alston just isnt the same.
Cleveland just has the depth no one else has. I think LA is the only team who can compete with them in that level. Missing Ben Wallace in the playoffs will hurt but I think we'll get er' dun

Wallace will be back, but not as strong as one would hope. I think that the Eastern finals can go 6 or 7, but I have to check the Vegas lines for NBA champion and I think I'm i the right, Cleveland over the Lakers. I do my research but I can't get to the depth of those in the know.

you have good points about cavs for sure taking it in the east. they do have an intensity unmatched by others in the nba, i mean sometimes lebron's facial expressions are straight up terrifying, i wouldn't wanna be in the way of him and the basket.
but i'm still not convinced mo,lebron and coach brown can take down pau, kobe, and jackson but it doesn't sound like you're all that convinced either.
can't fucking wait for saturday, let the games begin.

They are just such a fun group to watch because they all get along so well. i dont think I have watched a team play with better chemistry than when the Cavs are clicking.

The Bulls are H-O-T-T.

I dont see it happening but I wouldnt count the Bulls out Not many teams have a player who can match up with Dwight Howard
Thats the thing in the NBA. Its best of 7. even if the Bulls get lucky and take it 6 or 7 games. I still think Orlando wins.

JR always looks like he's baked. The nuggets have to have the most tattoos per player in the NBA.
I was so pumped when they got birdman, and he's more than lived up to the hopes I think anyone had for him. The nugs bench is sweet, and I think they'll be playing LA for the West.

I would hardly consider splitting the series 1-1 "buttraping" the Cavaliers. Lakers beat us in Cleveland. Cleveland beat LA in LA. I would say thats pretty even. Not to mention when the Cavs lost to LA we were playing without Big Z and Delante West, 2 starters.
